Dr. Fox: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what percentage of children in service childrens education schools achieved level 4+ at key stage 2 in each year since 1997. [83704]

Mr. Amess: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what research her Department (a) has undertaken and (b) plans to undertake into the psychological effects on women of having early medical abortions at home; and if she will make a statement. [77595]
Caroline Flint: The Department has not undertaken any research into the psychological effects on women having early medical abortions at home and has no plans to do so.
The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists reviewed the evidence on abortion when updating its evidence-based guideline The Care of Women Requesting Induced Abortion in 2004.
Mr. Amess: To ask the Secretary of State for Health pursuant to her answer of 20 June 2006, Official Report, column 1794W, on abortion, what the evidential basis was for the statement that medical abortion is safe; if she will place in the Library papers that support this; and if she will make a statement. Mr. Amess: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much her Department paid out in compensation to women who had an abortion as a result of misdiagnosis by national health service hospitals in each of the last five years for which information is available. [83196]
Caroline Flint: The National Health Service Litigation Authority manages clinical negligence claims on behalf of national health service bodies in England. Its data are not categorised in the format requested.
Mr. Amess: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what the NHS abortion rate per 100 live births was in each health authority in England in each of the last three years for which figures are available. [83199]
Caroline Flint: The information requested is shown in the table.
The Health Statistics Quarterly 30 shows that the percentage of conceptions ending in abortion has remained stable.
