MEMORANDUM
TABLING OF QUESTIONSFOR ORAL ANSWER IN THE NEW SESSION
       Shuffles will take place at 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday 15th November, the day of the State Opening, for oral Questions being answered on:
       A shuffle will take place at 12.30 p.m. on Thursday 16th November for the oral Questions being answered on Wednesday 22nd November by the Prime Minister.
       The shuffles for subsequent Question times will follow the normal pattern and details will be issued shortly on a new Order of Questions to be available from the Vote Office and on the Intranet Bulletin Board (http://pdvnsco.parliament.uk/bb/bb.htm).
       Members may send notices of Questions to the Table Office by post or through the e-tabling system once the House has prorogued. These notices will be treated as having been received on the first day of the new Session. Members may also table such notices in person at the Table Office from its opening time in the new Session of 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday 15th November.
QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER ON A NAMED DAYIN THE NEW SESSION
       The earliest date in the new Session for which a Question may be set down for written answer on a named day will be Monday 20th November.
NOTICES OF QUESTIONS, NEW MOTIONSAND ADDED NAMES IN SESSION 2005-06
       The last day on which effective notice of a question for written answer on a named day can be given is three days before the day Prorogation takes place. The last such day in respect of ordinary written questions is two days before Prorogation takes place.
       The last day on which effective notices of new Motions and added names can be given is the day before Prorogation takes place.
