Yoon-Je, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea
In relation to your request, I am sending to
the Foreign Affairs Committee an article entitled The Influence
of China's Emergence on ROK Security and Stability, which
was written by Professor Kim Heung-kyu from the Institute of Foreign
Affairs and National Security. Professor Kim is one of Korea's
leading scholars on China.
I would like to stress that the views presented
within the article do not reflect the official position of the
Government of the Republic of Korea.
I hope this article will prove useful to the
inquiry of the Foreign Affairs Committee into East Asia and the
emergence of the People's Republic of China.
