Letter to Mr David Laws MP from the Chairman
of the Committee
Thank you for your letter of 24 January, enclosing
one from your constituent Michael Fox about the BBC World Service.
As I explained in my letter of last month, the
Committee is in the process of considering draft Reports on these
and related matters. I am unable, therefore, to pre-empt its conclusions
by commenting on the substance of your constituent's letter, or
by making representations to Ministers.
I expect the Committee's Report to be published
in March.
