relating to the extension of his appointment as the Prime Minister's
Strategy Adviser
STRATEGY ADVISER
TO THE
PRIME MINISTER—EXTENSION
OF APPOINTMENT
I am writing to advise you that your Personal
Appointment by the Prime Minister, which commenced on Friday 5
October 2001, is to be extended for a further 12 months until
Wednesday 4 October 2006, subject to a one-month notice period
by either party. The Prime Minister now looks forward to discussing
with you the future terms of reference for your work; the terms
of the appointment set out in the original letter of appointment
would therefore remain current until the Prime Minister agrees
the future way forward.
The Prime Minister has expressed his deep gratitude
for the support you have already provided and looks forward to
working closely with you in the coming months.
