I refer to your letter of 14 November 2005 seeking
a written submission concerning the application of the sub
judice rule of the House of Commons to proceedings in coroners'
courts. I apologise for the delay in responding.
I can confirm that I have seen the written submission
that the Lord Advocate has sent to you on 5 January. This response
covers the interests of the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal
Service and therefore I have nothing further to add.
