The companies listed are ABI members writing business through subsidiaries, branches and agencies of UK companies in the countries listed. Those marked with an asterisk (*) are UK branches or subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies using the UK branch/subsidiary as a base for writing business into Europe. Though several companies are foreign-owned, they account for just 6.4% of the £12.7 billion long-term business premium income written in Europe by all these companies.
