   On Third Reading of the Freedom of Information (Amendment) Bill, to move, That this House declines to give a Third Reading to the Freedom of Information (Amendment) Bill because, by proposing a substantial reduction in the scope of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, it undermines the credibility of the original legislation, fails to recognise the remedies and protection available in other legislation, damages the reputation of Parliament and establishes double standards for public authorities without evidence of need or justification in the public interest.
