PENSIONS BILL (PROGRAMME) (No. 3)

   That the following provisions shall apply to the Pensions Bill for the purpose of supplementing the Orders of 16th January and 18th April 2007 (Pensions Bill (Programme) and Pensions Bill (Programme) (No. 2)):
Consideration of Lords Amendments
   1.   Proceedings on consideration of Lords Amendments shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion three hours after their commencement at this day’s sitting.
   2.   The Lords Amendments shall be considered in the following order, namely 15 to 24, 1, 12 to 14, 28, 2 to 11, 25 to 27, 29 to 73.
Subsequent stages
   3.   Any further Message from the Lords may be considered forthwith without any Question being put.
   4.   The proceedings on any further Message from the Lords shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour after their commencement.
To be decided without debate (Standing Order No. 83A(7)).

   The Fifth Report from the Public Administration Select Committee, Session 2006-07, HC 523, the Pensions Bill: Government Undertakings relating to the Financial Assistance Scheme, and the Eighth Report from the Public Administration Select Committee, Session 2006-07, HC 922, the Pensions Bill and the FAS: An Update, including the Government response to the Fifth Report of Session 2006-07, are relevant.
   Proceedings will, so far as not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion three hours after their commencement, if the Pensions Bill (Programme) (No. 3) Motion is agreed to.

   2.   Proceedings in Committee of the whole House, any proceedings on consideration and proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion two hours after the commencement of proceedings on the Motion for this Order.
   The Speaker will put the Question not later than 45 minutes after proceedings begin (Standing Order No. 83A(9)).
