Wednesday 18th April 2007 Public Bill Committee New Amendments handed in are marked thus * Other Amendments not tabled within the required notice period are marked thus # VEHICLE REGISTRATION MARKS Bill Mr Greg Knight 1 Clause 1, page 1, line 20, at end insert— ‘(2A) In section 57 of that Act (regulations)— (a) in subsection (7), after ‘Act’ insert ‘(other than regulations under section 26(1))’. (b) after subsection (7), insert— “(ZA) A statutory instrument containing regulations under section 26(1) may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of both Houses of Parliament.”’. |
