Dr. Alasdair McDonnell: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much his Department spent on Belfast, West owned businesses to implement growth plans through the development of markets outside Northern Ireland in each year since April 2002. [105920]

Environmental Improvement Schemes

Mr. Donaldson: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much has been spent on environmental improvement schemes in each district council area in Northern Ireland in each of the last five years. [103803]

Industrial Development Board

Dr. Alasdair McDonnell: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many jobs the former Industrial Development Board created in Belfast, West in (a) 1992 to 1997 and (b) 1997 to 2001. [105918]

Maria Eagle: The Industrial Development Board did not directly create jobs. It attracted investors to Northern Ireland and assisted businesses to grow and develop which in turn may have led to job creation. Information on job promotions is not available by parliamentary constituency prior to 1995-96. Information has therefore been provided from 1995-96 onwards.
