House of Commons
NOTICES RELATING TO PRIVATE BUSINESS DEPOSITED ON
THURSDAY 3rd MAY 2007 PETITION AGAINST A PRIVATE BILL
Ministerial Reports
Under SO169A (Reports concerning human rights)
London Local Authorities Bill [Lords]
Jim Fitzpatrick, Minister for London, Department for Trade and Industry, has made the following report:
Clauses 117 to 119 (disclosure of information); and Clause 120 (water pressure). 3. All these clauses were however subsequently withdrawn by the promoters during the passage of the Bill through the House of Lords. 4. I believe, as a result of these amendments, that the promoters have now undertaken a full assessment of the compatibility of their proposals with the European Convention on Human Rights, and I see no need to dispute their conclusions.”
