Hillfields Children's Centre, Coventry

 

Responses from parents at Hillfields Children's Centre, Coventry, who have been working with Artists through Creative Partnership to design and realise carnival costumes for the Council Godiva Festival.

 

· Delcer - "I've enjoyed it so much I have got up every Tuesday and said- 'yes' - it's great for the community!"

 

· Shaheen - "I've enjoyed working as a team using the different colours and materials. It's exciting and great to work in a workshop and have new experiences".

 

· Sameria - "I've enjoyed this group and look forward to the next one".

 

· Natalia -" I'm glad it's growing." "There is so much talent from artists and friends, I've really got a lot out of it especially confidence building".

 

· Sue - "We've been sharing skills, building confidence. All the ladies get along well. It has given me a lot of confidence to apply for a dinner ladies job at my son's school. Doing it last year and this year means that I am much more confident to be involved".
