THE EU EMISSIONS TRADING SCHEME
The Committee considered this matter.
Draft Report (Emissions Trading: Government Response
to the Committee's Second Report of Session 2006-07 on the EU
ETS), proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft
Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 44 read and agreed to.
The Government's response to the Second Report from
the Committee was appended to the Report.
The correspondence between the Committee and the
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs regarding the
Government's response to the Second Report from the Committee
was appended to the Report.
Resolved, That the Report
be the Eighth Report of the Committee to the House.
Ordered, That the Chairman
make the Report to the House.
