Public & Commercial Services Union (RPA Sub 01a)
1. Following PCS's recent oral evidence
submission we have recently been able to obtain updated RPA staffing
figures.
2. Presently RPA has 3,173 staff which includes
295 Fixed Term Appointees and 577 casual staff. In addition 1,293
Agency staff are used by RPA. This is additional background material
to Q85 of evidence given on 6 April 2006. Our point being that
despite a downsizing programme RPA has more temporary workers
employed now than permanent ones.
