    (1) That it had come to the following Resolution, That, subject to the discretion of the Chair, any written evidence received by the Committee shall be reported to the House for publication; and

    (2) certain Memoranda.

2    Twelfth Delegated Legislation Committee,—Mrs Janet Dean reported from the Twelfth Delegated Legislation Committee the draft Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007.

3    Thirteenth Delegated Legislation Committee,—Mr Peter Atkinson reported from the Thirteenth Delegated Legislation Committee the draft Policing (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007.

4    Government Spending (Website) Bill [Lords],—The Government Spending (Website) Bill [Lords] was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Friday 29th June and to be printed [Bill 81].

5    Adjournment (Widening participation in higher education),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Bill Rammell);

    And it being Six o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment of the House lapsed, without Question put.

6    Public Petitions,—Public Petitions from—

    (1) residents of Rushden, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas against the poor quality of the television signal in their area;

    (2) residents and citizens of the town of Cheadle in Staffordshire for the re-establishment of two on-call fire appliances in Cheadle;

    (3) residents and citizens of the villages of Gnosall and Haughton against local post office closures;

    (4) residents and citizens of the village of Whiston in Staffordshire against the planning application for an extension to Moneystone quarry; and

    (5) residents of Port Solent, Portsmouth for the construction of acoustic barriers alongside the M27 in the local area

    were presented and read; and ordered to lie upon the Table and to be printed.

7    Adjournment,—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Mr Frank Roy);

    And the Motion having been made after Six o'clock, and the Debate having continued for half an hour, the Deputy Speaker adjourned the House without Question put, pursuant to the Standing Order, it being then twenty-three minutes to Seven o'clock, till Monday 19th March.
