paragraph 27(a), amendments to Article 11 TEU, where the United Kingdom enters a

defence agreement with a non-member state that is in any way linked to a related defence

agreement involving one or more other member states, and the agreement involves a

defence installation on the territory of one or more member states connected to the launch

or detection of nuclear missiles, the United Kingdom shall inform the European Council

of the reasons and how the agreement may impact on the Union as a whole, and seek to

obtain the binding agreement of all other member states to do likewise.’.
