For the purposes of this section, the steps that an employer is expected to take to

 

fulfil its obligations in subsection (1) shall not include contacting a college of

 

further education to verify—

 

(a)    

that the young person is enrolled,

 

(b)    

that the young person is attending courses, or

 

(c)    

the number of hours of attendance the young person’s course requires.’.
