The Lords agree with the Commons in their Amendment 7, but do propose Amendment 7A

in lieu of the words so left out of the bill—

The Treasury shall lay before Parliament a copy of any direction given

under subsection (4).”

The Treasury may by order amend the figure in subsection (1)(a).

An order under this section is subject to annulment in pursuance of a

resolution of either House of Parliament.”
