Mr. Hoban: To ask the Leader of the House whether her Office has conducted any public opinion polls since 27 June; and if she will make a statement. [165548]
Helen Goodman: There have been no public opinions polls conducted by the Office of the Leader of the House of Commons since 27 June.
Mrs. May: To ask the Leader of the House how many contracts were awarded by her Department to Opinion Leader Research in each year since 1997; and what was (a) the title and purpose, (b) the cost to the public purse and (c) the dates of (i) tender, (ii) award, (iii) operation and (iv) completion and report to the Department in each case. Mrs. May: To ask the Leader of the House when her planned timetable is for the establishment of regional select committees. [165308]
Ms Harman:
The Government are considering how best to take forward the ideas in the Governance of Britain Green Paper for committees to reflect the English regions. The Modernisation Select Committee of the House of Commons announced an inquiry into
Regional Accountability on 11 October and the Government expect to submit a memorandum to that Committee.
Mrs. Gillan: To ask the Leader of the House if she will bring forward proposals to amend the procedures for setting up meetings of the Welsh Grand Committee. [166309]
Ms Harman: Meetings of the Welsh Grand Committee are set up under Standing Order No. 108, following discussion in the usual channels. The Government have no plans to seek to amend these procedures.
