Young Offender Institutions

Mr. Willis: To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many young offender institutions there are in England; and how many places those institutions provide. [168309]

Mr. Hanson: There are 20 establishments in England that only hold remanded or sentenced 18 to 21-year-olds and/or under 18-year-olds.
