Mr. Boris Johnson: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many (a) reports of, (b) arrests for and (c) convictions for drug rape were made in London in each of the last 10 years. [169813]
Mr. Coaker: The information requested is not collected centrally. Data on offences of rape recorded by the police are collected by the Home Office. Data on arrests and those convicted are collected by the Office for Criminal Justice Reform. However, it is not possible to separately identify drug rapes in either statistical series.
Mr. Boris Johnson: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many special constables there were in (a) England and (b) each London borough in each year since 1997. [166929]

(1) Figures for specials are counted in terms of headcount rather than full-time equivalent. (2) The London totals comprise officer totals for Metropolitan police and City of London police. They are not totals of the London boroughs because they also include Heathrow and Central Services. Excludes officers on career breaks and maternity/paternity leave. |
