To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what his most recent estimate is of the proportion of children on free school meals in each academy; and what percentage were on free school meals in the predecessor schools in the two years before academy status was granted. [172090]

The latest available information on pupils known to be eligible for free school meals in academies relates to January 2007 and is shown in the following table.
Information on the percentage of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals in the predecessor schools in the two years before academy status was granted can be provided only at disproportionate cost.
