Mr. Bradshaw: Figures for the numbers of accident and emergency (A and E) departments at the end of
27 Feb 2008 : Column 1730W
each of the financial years 2005-06, 2006-07 and the latest 2007-08 date (position as at end December 2007) have been provided. More historic data have not been provided as the information could be produced only at disproportionate cost.
