Mr. Maude: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what payments his Department and its agencies have made to communications consultancy, Clear; and for what purpose. [191086]
[Official Report, 7 March 2008, Vol. 472, c. 2854W.]
An error has been identified in the written answer given to the right hon. Member for Horsham (Mr. Maude) on 7 March 2008. The answer should have been:
Mr. Bradshaw: The Department paid invoices to Clear totalling £12,450.72 between May and June 2004. Records do not show the purpose of these invoices.
3. Mr. Alistair Carmichael (Orkney and Shetland) (LD): What is her most recent estimate of the budget for the 2012 Olympic Games. [204432]
[Official Report, 12 May 2008, Vol. 475, c. 1060-62.]
An error has been identified in a supplementary Oral question to Question 3 from the hon. Member for Orkney and Shetland (Mr. Carmichael). The error occurred in the Oral answer given to the supplementary question asked by the hon. Member for Strangford (Mrs. Robinson) on 12 May 2008:
Mrs. Iris Robinson (Strangford) (DUP): Can the Minister say what proportion of the budget is earmarked for Northern Ireland?
[Official Report, 12 May 2008, Vol. 475, c. 1060-62.]
The correct answer should have been:
Tessa Jowell: The budget is not apportioned regionally, but the opportunities for hosting training camps and volunteers, and particularly the opportunity to take up the some 75,000 contracts that will be let during the development of the Olympic park and the preparations for the Olympics, mean that, as is the case with Wales and Scotland, Northern Ireland businesses should benefit. The CompeteFor network is designed to ensure that they do so.
