Mr. Evans: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many illegal share sales boiler room operations were shut down in each of the last three years. [206944]

Apprentices

Mr. Frank Field: To ask the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills how many types of apprenticeship are available; and what estimate he has made of the number of people on each scheme. [209310]

Mr. Lammy [holding answer 6 June 2008]: Over 130,000 employers are offering apprenticeship places in over 180 different types of apprenticeships across 80 industry sectors. The following table shows the number of people starting apprenticeships by framework type in England in 2006/07.
