Mrs. May: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to the Answer of 8 May 2008, Official Report, columns 1062-6W, on departmental public participation, how much each (a) survey and (b) piece of qualitative research cost; and how many participants there were in each. [206030]
[Official Report, 10 June 2008, Vol. 477, c. 157-162W.]
Letter of correction from Jim Fitzpatrick:
An error has been identified in a written answer given to the right hon. Member for Maidenhead (Mrs. May) on 10 June 2008 on Public Participation.
In my answer there is an omission in the number of participants for the Simpson Carpenter research.
Table B: Ad-hoc surveys 2007-08 | ||||
Division/Agency | Survey/opinion poll | (i) Firm | Cost (£) | Number of participants |
In the table above the number of participants for the DfT research into Commercial Customers Channel Choice carried out by Simpson Carpenter should have been included as 600.
5. Chris Mole (Ipswich) (Lab): What steps he is taking to reduce the availability of drugs in prisons; and if he will make a statement. [218562]
[Official Report, 15 July 2008, Vol. 479, c. 122-124.]
Letter of correction from Jack Straw:
In my response to the hon. Member for Ipswich (Chris Mole) during Justice Questions on 15 July 2008 I said:
There are now 141 intensive drug treatment programmes in 99 prisons.
It has since come to my attention that this is incorrect. There are currently 114 intensive drug treatment programmes in 99 prisons.
