Letter of correction from John Healey to Mr. Oaten:
An error has been identified in the written answer given to the hon. Member for Winchester (Mr. Oaten) on 6 October 2008. The full answer referred to the £3.447 billion cashable efficiency gains achieved by councils represent a saving worth £129 for the average Band D council tax property.
The correct answer should have been:
The £3.447 billion cashable efficiency gains achieved by councils represent a saving worth £193 for the average Band D council tax property.
