to that Barrister Razzaque has been barred from going outside
Bangladesh on 28 February 2008. He was scheduled to go to Malaysia.
Mr Abdur Razzaq Siddiq, Assistant Secretary General of the Jamaat-e-Islami
Bangladesh is a prominent Human Rights Lawyer.
The Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh is one of the
largest political parties in that country and was the senior coalition
partner to the Bangladesh National Party who were in government
for the past five years.

Mr Abdur Razzaq Siddiq is one of Bangladesh's
leading human rights lawyers and the Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant
Secretary General. He has been Secretary General of the Centre
for Human Rights, Dhakla, since 1994.
