  Q38 Chairman: Let me welcome to our session this morning Paul Gray, who I gather until this week was acting Chairman of Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs and has now become Chairman.

  Mr Gray: Indeed, I have.

  Q39  Chairman: Could we be one of the early people to congratulate on this appointment.

  Mr Gray: Thank you very much, Chairman.
