Department for Children, Schools and Families
 
   That, for the year ending with 31 March 2010, for expenditure by the Department for Children, Schools and Families—
(1)   
further resources, not exceeding £32,152,966,000 be authorised for use as set out in HC 514,
(2)   
a further sum, not exceeding £32,181,534,000 be granted to Her Majesty out of the Consolidated Fund to meet the costs as so set out, and
(3)   
limits as so set out be set on appropriations in aid.
   This Estimate is to be considered in so far as it relates to looked-after children (Resolution of 30 June).
   The Third Report from the Children, Schools and Families Committee, HC 111, on looked-after children, and the Government response, HC 787, are relevant.

   That, for the year ending with 31 March 2010, for expenditure by the Department for Transport—
(1)   
further resources, not exceeding £8,812,695,000 be authorised for use as set out in HC 514,
(2)   
a further sum, not exceeding £7,734,837,000 be granted to Her Majesty out of the Consolidated Fund to meet the costs as so set out, and
(3)   
limits as so set out be set on appropriations in aid.
   This Estimate is to be considered in so far as it relates to road safety (Resolution of 30 June).
   The Eleventh Report from the Transport Committee, HC 460, Session 2007-08, on Ending the scandal of complacency: road safety beyond 2010, and the Government responses, HC 136 and HC 422, Session 2008-09, are relevant.
Debate may continue until 6.00 pm.
   The Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on the above Motions will be deferred until 6.00 pm (Standing Order No. 54(4) and (5)).

a further sum, not exceeding £251,679,943,000 be granted to Her Majesty out of the Consolidated Fund to meet the costs of defence and civil services as so set out, and
(3)   
limits as set out in HC 513, HC 514 and HC 525 be set on appropriations in aid.

   A Bill is to be brought in upon the three Motions in the name of Stephen Timms relating to Estimates, 2009-10, if they are agreed to by the House.
