   (1)   the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
(a)   
any expenditure incurred by a Minister of the Crown or the National Audit Office by virtue of the Act, and
(b)   
any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable by virtue of any other Act out of money so provided, and
   (2)   the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of—
(a)   
amounts required for providing the remuneration packages of the Comptroller and Auditor General and the chair of the National Audit Office, and
(b)   
amounts payable in consequence of liability for breach of duty in relation to audits, examinations and inspections carried out as part of the Comptroller and Auditor General’s functions.
