MEMORANDUM
NEW EARLY DAY MOTIONS AND ADDED NAMES
       New early day motions and added names may not be tabled on the day of Prorogation, Thursday 12 November, as it is not possible to publish them after the conclusion of the Session at the time of Prorogation. The last day in the Session on which notices of new Motions and added names may be submitted by Members is therefore Wednesday 11 November.
       All Motions fall at Prorogation.
       New Motions, and added names, may be submitted to the Table Office from its opening time in the new Session of 10.00 am on Wednesday 18 November.
TABLING OF QUESTIONS
       All Questions fall at Prorogation. Members may send notices of Questions relating to the new Session to the Table Office by post or through the e-tabling system once Prorogation has taken place. These notices will be treated as having been received on the first day of the new Session.
       Members may table notices of Questions in person in the Table Office from 10.00 am on Wednesday 18 November.
QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER IN THE NEW SESSION
       Shuffles will take place at 12.30 pm on Wednesday 18 November, the day of the State Opening, for the Oral Questions being answered on:

    (a)           Tuesday 24 November by the Secretary of State for Health; and
    (b)           Wednesday 25 November by the Secretary of State for Scotland.
       The shuffles for subsequent Question times will follow the normal pattern and details may be found on the Order of Questions for the new Session when it is issued, which will be available from the Vote Office and via the Parliamentary Intranet at http://intranet.parliament.uk/bulletin-board.
QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
       The last day in the Session on which Questions may be tabled for named day answer will be Monday 9 November, for answer on 12 November. In the case of ordinary written Questions the last tabling day will be Tuesday 10 November.
       The earliest date in the new Session for which a Question may be set down for named day written answer is Monday 23 November.
