| | This amendment is part of a set of amendments which provides that regulations under clause 1 may |

| | be made only if Parliament has approved a draft of the regulations. This particular amendment |

| | requires the Secretary of State to lay such a draft before Parliament. |

| | This amendment, which is related to amendment 4, provides that average weekly earnings are to |
|
| | be estimated on the basis of information published by the Statistics Board (as established by the |
|
| | Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007). |
