Clause  2,  page  1,  line  23,  at end add—

 

‘(3)    

Arrangements falling within subsection (2) may be made only if the Secretary of

 

State is properly satisfied that an adequate case impact assessment has been

 

carried out in accordance with the principles established for the Export Credits

 

Guarantee Department or such other body performing comparable functions as

 

the Secretary of State considers appropriate.’.

 

 

Order of the House [16 MARCH 2009]

 

That the following provisions shall apply to the Industry and Exports (Financial

 

Support) Bill:

 

Committal

 

1.    

The Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

 

Proceedings

 

2.    

Proceedings Committee, any proceedings on consideration and proceedings

 

on Third Reading shall be completed at one day’s sitting.

 

3.    

Proceedings in Committee and any proceedings on consideration shall (so far

 

as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour before the

 

moment of interruption on the day on which those proceedings are

 

commenced.

 

4.    

Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day.

 

Programming Committee

 

5.    

Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to

 

proceedings in Committee, any proceedings on consideration or proceedings

 

on Third Reading.

 

Programming other proceedings

 

6.    

Any other proceedings on the Bill (including any proceedings on

 

consideration of Lords Amendments or on any further messages from the

 

Lords) may be programmed.

That the Order of 16 March 2009 (Industry and Exports (Financial Support) Bill

 

(Programme)) be varied as follows:

 

       1. Paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Order shall be omitted.

 

       2. Proceedings in Committee, any proceedings on consideration and

 

proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion three hours after the commencement of proceedings

 

on the Motion for this Order.
