Carmichael: On a point of order, Sir Nicholas. I seek your
clarification. I clearly heard the hon. Member for Preseli
Pembrokeshire say no when invited to vote. It was the Conservative Whip
who said, “No vote”. Surely the hon. Gentleman should be
recorded as having voted
no.
The
Chairman: I felt that the hon. Gentleman would raise a
point of order. From the Chair, I understood that the hon. Member for
Preseli Pembrokeshire corrected
his vote, which he is entitled to do. The point made by the hon. Member
for Orkney and Shetland will no doubt be recorded in
Hansard. I
call the Minister to move the second motion formally.
