Letter of correction from Jim Knight:
An error has been identified in the written answer to the hon. Member for Surrey Heath (Michael Gove) on 11 December 2008. Unfortunately, there were errors in the figures provided for both years because of a common arithmetic error. The result was that the errors a) underestimated the performance of high FSM schools by a considerable amount (incorrectly 13 per cent. rather than 31 per cent.) and b) suggested a decline for the high FSM schools, which was really an increase (incorrectly from 14 per cent. to 13 per cent., rather than from 27 per cent. to 31 per cent.).
Tim Farron: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how much his Department has spent on flood defences in each of the last five years. [233933]
