(3) how many (a) full-time equivalent and (b) part- time staff are employed by the National Joint Registry Steering Committee; [288841]

(5) what the cost of the office premises occupied by the National Joint Registry Steering Committee was in each of the last five years; [288965]

(7) on what dates Ministers in his Department last met staff of the National Joint Registry Steering Committee. [288967]
Ann Keen:
The National Joint Registry Steering Group is an advisory non-departmental public body. Members are unpaid but reimbursed for their travel and subsistence. The steering group does not employ staff and does not occupy any office premises. It does not have an annual budget, as it receives its funding through a levy on hip and knee joint replacements supplied to the national health service and independent health care providers, and it has not spent any money on external consultancy.
