Mr William Cash, supported by Mr Frank Field, presented a Bill to make provision for each public company to establish a shareholders' committee; to make provision about the membership, functions and operation of the committee; and for connected purposes.

3 Food Labelling Regulations (Amendment): Motion for leave to bring in a Bill (Standing Order No. 23)

Ordered, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to amend the Food Labelling Regulations 1996 to provide for information about the country of origin of food to be made available to consumers; and for connected purposes;
