That the Committee takes note of European Union Document No. 8977/09, Commission Communication on the Green Paper_Reform of the Common Fisheries Policy, and supports the Government in working with the European Commission to improve the governance framework of the Common Fisheries Policy, thereby contributing to the delivery and maintenance of sustainable fisheries.
