1.  The Environmental Audit Committee published its report on Vehicle Excise Duty as an environmental tax on Monday 4 August 2008 as HC 907.

2.  The Government's Response to the Committee's Report was received on Thursday 4 December 2008 in the form of a memorandum to the Committee. It is reproduced as an Appendix to this Special Report.
