On behalf of Wimbledon Disarmament Colition/CND
I should like to suggest that the Select committee explore further
the logic of the claim by the Rt Hon. Bob Ainsworth MP that negotiations
towards a Nuclear Weapons Convention would undermine the Nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty. I enclose a copy of a letter to our
local MP Stephen Hammond which contains some very disturbing remarks
about the "key role" of nuclear deterrence.
