Draft Report (Human Rights Annual Report 2008), proposed by the
Chairman, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the Chairman's draft Report be read a second
time, paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 78 read and agreed to.
Paragraph 79 read, amended and agreed to.
Paragraphs 80 to 270 read and agreed to.
Paragraph 271 read, amended and agreed to.
Paragraphs-(The Chairman)-brought up, read the first and
second time, and inserted (now paragraphs 272 and 273).
Paragraphs 272 to 291 (now paragraphs 274 to 293) read and agreed
to.
Paragraph 292 (now paragraph 294) read, amended and agreed to.
Paragraphs 293 to 301 (now paragraphs 295 to 303) read and agreed
to.
Resolved, That the Report be the Seventh Report of the
Committee to the House.
Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.
Ordered, That embargoed copies of the Report be made available,
in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order No. 134.
Written evidence was ordered to be reported to the House for printing
with the Report, together with written evidence reported and ordered
to be published on 21 January, 4 March and 6 May.
