GS(JK) 29: Letter to the Chairman from The Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan
Thank you for your answer.
We pay great respects to British Government and your committee for your activities and efforts. The Korean Council was strongly impressed by your committee's attention for the 'comfort women' issue.
As you know, the military sexual slavery by Japan during WWII does not stay in the past. Violation against women's human rights repeats whenever war occurs around the world. It is a matter of protecting one's human rights. We expect your continuous coalition and support. Your support will make it closer for the victims of the military sexual slavery by Japan during WWII to gain their dignity and human rights back.
We will continue to strive to solve the matters.
Thank you so much again.
