OT 334: Letter from W L Chamberland MBE, FCIS, Gibraltar

It is just over a year ago that I wrote to you in your capacity as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee as a follow up to the visit of both the Leader of the Opposition and the Chief Minister.

What prompted me was the fact that certain remarks attributed to Mr Bossano were treated as simply being out of context when in fact they were factual. I am now enclosing press cuttings,[1] which speak for themselves, one of them is reviving what appeared in 2008 to be fantasy.

Gibraltar although by definition a city is nonetheless a village or at least with a village mentality and therefore anything done or not done is quickly seized upon by all and sundry.

I apologise for this intrusion into your valued time but when persons, in today's modern phraseology are economical with the facts this has to be exposed.
