To move the following Clause:—

‘The Secretary of State may by regulations extend the use of the electricity supply

levy to be used—

(a)	in respect of CCS demonstration projects, and

(b)	in respect of additional CCS use at demonstration projects

for carbon capture and storage technology other than by coal-fired electricity

generation including those which generate electricity using natural gas.’.

Extension of reconciliation mechanism

To move the following Clause:—

‘The Secretary of State may by regulations extend the reconciliation mechanism

to include producers of—

(a)	liquid petroleum gas,

(b)	home fuel heating oil, and

(c)	such other home heating products as he deems appropriate.’.

Page  15,  line  32  [Clause  18],  at end insert—

‘(2A)

The Secretary of State may not exercise the power in subsection (1) unless he or

she is of the opinion that the modifications would not have adverse impacts on

security of supply or investment in electricity generation capacity.’.
