| | To move the following Clause:— |
|
| | | ‘(1) | A person who sells or hires or offers for sale or hire any sunbed shall ensure— |
|
| | | (a) | that the specification of the sunbed complies with European standard EN |
|
| | | |
| | | (b) | that any UV radiation emitted by the sunbed does not exceed 0.3 watts |
|
| | | |
| | | (2) | Any person who is in breach of the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of |
|
| | | an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20,000.’. |

|

| | | ‘No person shall use or operate a sunbed which— |
|
| | | (a) | does not conform with the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 |
