Andrew Stunell:
To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills how many people in each age group resident in (a) each local education authority area in the North West and (b) England had paid their student loans in full on the latest date for which figures are available. [312988]
Mr. Lammy:
The following table provides a breakdown by age of those students whose accounts are fully repaid and all the accounting action is complete as at 30 June 2009. However, as at the same date, there were a further 164,600 borrowers in England who had fully repaid their loan, but whose accounts were still in the process of being closed. It is not possible for us to provide a breakdown by age of those students.
