Development
1. The scheme was extended from December
2008 to 30 April 2009 due to complexities around equipment procurement
and instructions, from the NHS trust, for additional work to be
included on the project. The additional works comprised accommodation
and laboratory fit out works increasing the original estimated
cost from £26 million to £30 million.
