1. The Work and Pensions Committee agreed its Second Report of Session 2009-10, Decision making and appeals in the benefits system, on 27 January 2010. The Report was published on 9 February 2010 as House of Commons Paper No. 313. We have now received the Government's Response to this report in the form of a memorandum from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Lord McKenzie. This memorandum is printed as an Appendix to this Special Report.
